about

We created this recording in response to the global surge in gender-based violence that occurred during the pandemic. With contributions from artists in Canada, the US and Mexico, this record is based on two songs from a song cycle of the same name written by Aruna Antonella Handa.

lyrics

Won't you? (won't you)
Remind me (remind me)
To wonder (to wonder)
Who's missing from the corridors of privilege.

Just one (just one)
Woman (woman)
Goes missing (goes missing)
When one woman goes missing, all of us are lost.

Won't you? (won't you)
Remind me (remind me)
To wonder (to wonder)
Who's missing from the corridors of privilege.

Just one (just one)
Woman (woman)
Goes missing (goes missing)
When one woman goes missing, all of us are lost.

Hey, hey, have you seen my sister?
Hey, hey, have you seen my sister?
Away, away, away, away, away
She's missing.
Away...
Hey, have you seen my sister?

Hey, hey, have you seen my mother?
Hey, hey, have you seen my mother?
Away, away, away, away, away
She's missing.
Away...
Hey, have you seen my daughter?

Hey, hey, have you seen my lover?
Hey, hey, have you seen my lover?
Away, away, away, away, away
She's missing.
Away...
Hey, have you seen my neighbour?

Hey, hey, have you seen my sister?
mm mm mm mm
Away, away, away, away, away
She's missing.
Away...
Hey, have you seen my sister?
